Local Houston custom boot and shoe company, Maida’s Custom Footwear released a state of the art full service “mobile showroom” to travel to special events across Texas. This new concept is designed to reach out to those who can’t make it to the Houston showroom for measuring and designing. Maida’s specializes in manufacturing custom designed leather goods including custom boots, shoes, and belts right here in Houston, Texas. With the new release of the “mobile showroom,” Maida’s has made special public appearances to the new Boardwalk Towne Lake in Cypress, Liberty Station on Washington, and the Houston Polo Club of which Maida’s is an official 2016 sponsor.
“It comes down to educating the public on what you do and how you do it so they can feel and see what really goes into this gentle craft. The customer wants to know what is involved in the cost and how it is made locally,” states owner Camilla Maida. The mobile showroom was designed to bring the experience to the customer instead of the customer to the product while making a custom statement for the brand.
