Maida's uses only #1 Grade French Tanned Alligator, Crocodile and Calf. These hides are the best money can buy, they are aniline dyed, very expensive, deep in luster, almost flawless. Professional craftsmen only work with them.

We do not use Caiman, or Hornback Caiman.

Manufacturing at Maida's has been performed the same way, day by day, year after year. This unchanged system of construction enables us to continually produce a high end, high quality, hand-crafted product that's NEW.

What does that mean?

Well, it is like food. There is fresh and freshly opened. Fresh being a product that was just made. Freshly opened would be a store bought product. It is new to you because you just purchased it, but how long ago was it manufactured, how long has it been stagnate in inventory or on a rack or shelf? Was it preserved with a conditioning treatment regularly while hanging around the store? Probably not.

When Maida's ships your order, we guarantee it just came off our production line.

THAT'S NEW!

This all sounds like typical sales hype, but when you see, touch and smell our product, then you will personally understand what is really NEW.
